Hello! I’m Katie.
I’m a life coach, communications professional, and relationship builder who is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, navigate change, and build lives that actually feel good — not just look good on paper.
For most of my career, I’ve worked in leadership, employee engagement, communications, and culture-building roles. In my current role as Vice President of Employee Engagement & Strategic Communication for Elemental Management, I spend my days helping people navigate workplace dynamics, leadership challenges, communication struggles, burnout, growth, and change. At the heart of my work is one simple goal: helping people feel seen, supported, connected, and empowered.
While my career has evolved over the years, there has always been a clear throughline of healthcare, wellness, human connection, and helping people. Whether through communications, leadership, advocacy, employee engagement, or coaching, my work has consistently centered around supporting others through growth, transition, and real-life challenges.
Like many professionals, I focused on working my way up the corporate ladder over the years. Along the way, I started realizing something important: many of the conversations people needed most weren’t really about work at all. They were about confidence, relationships, family dynamics, identity shifts, boundaries, career transitions, stress, people-pleasing, and starting over.
That realization is what led me to coaching.
I’ve personally benefited from coaching during pivotal moments in my own life and career, and it completely changed the way I viewed growth, self-awareness, relationships, and possibility. Coaching gave me the space to reflect, evolve, and move forward with more clarity and confidence — and now, I want to help create that same experience for others.
As an ICF-certified life coach, I work with professionals, young women, and individuals navigating complicated family or relationship dynamics who are looking for support, clarity, accountability, and a safe place to grow. My coaching style is supportive, honest, practical, and deeply conversational. I’m not here to “fix” you — I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths, quiet the noise, and move forward with intention.
My coaching practice is part of Burt Street Communications & Consulting, where I combine my background in communications, leadership, relationship-building, and coaching to support individuals and organizations alike.
Most importantly, I’m a mom to two wonderful boys, George and Patrick, and wife to my incredibly supportive husband, Zeke — roles that have shaped my perspective on resilience, relationships, balance, and what truly matters most.
I believe it is never too late to grow into the next version of yourself, and I cannot wait to help you get started.
